Privacy Policy for AdminDash

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy applies to AdminDash (“the App”), developed by AppVantage LLC, a California Limited Liability Company.

AdminDash is purposefully designed to operate entirely within a customer’s ServiceNow instance without transmitting, storing, or collecting any data outside of that environment. This policy explains what data the App does not collect and the privacy protections built into its design.

By installing or using AdminDash, you acknowledge and agree to this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

AdminDash is a utility application designed exclusively for internal productivity within ServiceNow. It does not collect, transmit, store, or process any customer data; either from the ServiceNow instance or from end users.

2.1 No ServiceNow Instance Data is Collected

AdminDash does not, extract, store, or transmit any data from ServiceNow tables, including but not limited to:

  • Incident, Request, Task, or Case records

  • User, Group, Role, or Identity records

  • Configuration Items (CIs) or CMDB data

  • Catalog Items, Knowledge Articles, or Activity Logs

  • Any custom or out-of-box table

 

AdminDash performs only lightweight, in-instance display logic necessary to show context such as impersonation state and record identifiers. No information is stored or shared.

2.2 No Personal Identifying Information (PII)

AdminDash does not collect:

  • Names

  • Email addresses

  • Login IDs

  • IP addresses

  • Device identifiers

  • Authentication data

2.3 No Usage or Telemetry Data

AdminDash does not collect or transmit:

  • Analytics

  • Crash logs

  • User behavior

  • Click tracking

  • Performance metrics

2.4 No Third-Party Sharing

Because AdminDash collects no data, AppVantage LLC does not:

  • Sell data

  • Rent data

  • Share data

  • Transfer data to any third party

3. Data Processing and Storage

AdminDash performs all computational and UI logic within the customer’s ServiceNow instance.

3.1 Local Processing Only

Any temporary processing performed by AdminDash occurs exclusively in memory within the ServiceNow platform.

3.2 No Data Storage

AdminDash:

  • Creates no new database tables

  • Adds no columns to existing tables

  • Stores no persistent information

  • Writes no data back to the instance

3.3 No External Systems or Services

AdminDash does not connect to:

  • External APIs

  • Web services

  • Hosted endpoints

  • Embedded iframes or external content

 

(As documented in the Solution Design Document, AdminDash includes no instance-external connections or integrations.)

4. Data Retention

AdminDash retains no data of any kind.

  • No logs

  • No audit records

  • No user preferences

  • No configuration data beyond standard ServiceNow system properties controlled by the customer

 

There is no short-term or long-term retention of customer or user information.

5. Application Permissions

AdminDash introduces two optional roles:

  • x_milte_admindash.user – Controls visibility of AdminDash features within Service Portal.

  • x_milte_admindash.admin – Grants access to AdminDash configuration settings.

These roles:

  • Do not grant access to customer data

  • Do not modify ServiceNow ACLs

  • Do not override platform security

  • Are entirely optional and controlled by the customer

6. Logging

AdminDash does not create logs of:

  • User actions

  • Searches

  • Navigation behavior

  • Impersonation events

  • Troubleshooting steps

 

All operational logging remains entirely native to ServiceNow.

7. Impersonation Behavior

AdminDash does not introduce or modify impersonation capabilities. It simply surfaces the existing ServiceNow-native impersonation context in a more efficient manner.

AdminDash does not:

  • Alter impersonation permissions

  • Capture impersonation history

  • Store impersonation actions

  • Modify ServiceNow impersonation logs

 

All impersonation behavior continues to be governed by ServiceNow’s security model and customer-defined ACLs.

8. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

AdminDash does not use:

  • Cookies

  • Tracking pixels

  • Web beacons

  • Behavioral analytics

  • Session storage

  • Browser fingerprinting

 

No client-side tracking is performed.

9. Third-Party Services

AdminDash does not rely on, connect to, or embed any external service or provider, including:

  • Cloud services

  • Third-party libraries

  • External content providers

  • Analytics tools

 

All functionality is contained within the ServiceNow platform.

10. Compliance & Security

Because AdminDash does not collect or store personal information, its applicability under major privacy regulations is minimal.

Applicable standards such as:

  • GDPR

  • CCPA

  • HIPAA

  • SOC 2

are satisfied inherently through data non-collection.

 

AdminDash relies entirely on ServiceNow’s secure platform architecture, including its:

  • Authentication

  • Role-based access controls

  • Audit mechanisms

  • Encryption at rest and in transit

 

AdminDash introduces no new compliance obligations.

11. Policy Updates

AppVantage LLC may update this policy as needed to reflect:

  • Platform changes

  • New product releases

  • Evolving legal requirements

 

Any updates will be posted on:
